Our Fundraising

As a non-profit making organisation our fundraising takes many forms but nearly all involve singing!

We choose a different charity each year, usually one nominated by the chorus and we sing at various events to raise funds for them.

We also entertain at specific charitable functions sometimes, including country homes and domestic homes.

By fundraising we have supported local charities such as:-

Naomi House (children’s hospice)
The Rainbow Centre (for children with cerebral palsy)
Jack’s Place (part of Naomi House, built for mature youngsters)
The Elizabeth Foundation (services for children with hearing loss)
Rose Road

We have also raised funds for cancer charities such as:-
The Royal Marsden Hospital, Cancer Research and CLIC Sargent.

Occasionally we have a spot at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, where we perform specifically for our own chorus fund which enables us to purchase new music and also funds education for our members.
